Founded on the eve of the 50th anniversary of Azerbaijani animation, the PERI FILM company was established in order to contribute to the development, promotion of cinema in Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n

In 2018, “PER\u0130 F\u0130LM” LLC published the book Azerbaijani Animation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Since 2018, it has also been the organizer of the ANIMAFILM International Animation Festival<\/strong>. In 2024, the ANIMAFILM festival was held in Baku for the seventh time and received qualification from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA).<\/p>\n

In 2020, “PER\u0130 F\u0130LM” launched animation film production under the name ANIMAFILM Studio<\/strong>. The company\u2019s team consists of local and international professionals passionate about creating high-quality animated films for both children and adults.<\/p>\n

In 2023, the animated film Hadis<\/strong>, produced by the company, premiered at the world’s largest animation festival, the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. The film has participated in over 45 international festivals (including seven Oscar-qualifying festivals) and has won 9 awards.<\/p>\n

In 2024, with the support of the Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ARKA), “PER\u0130 F\u0130LM” LLC produced a new short animated film titled Nargiz<\/strong>. The film highlights the ongoing dangers of landmines and the critical need for awareness, especially among children.<\/p>\n
