{"id":10576,"date":"2026-04-24T19:08:02","date_gmt":"2026-04-24T15:08:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anima.az\/?p=10576"},"modified":"2026-04-24T19:15:12","modified_gmt":"2026-04-24T15:15:12","slug":"the-animated-film-earth-and-moon-has-won-an-award-at-kazakhstans-astana-eco-film-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/anima.az\/en\/2026\/04\/the-animated-film-earth-and-moon-has-won-an-award-at-kazakhstans-astana-eco-film-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"The animated film \u201cEarth and Moon\u201d has won an award at Kazakhstan\u2019s Astana Eco Film Festival!"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='epvc-post-count' style='padding-bottom: 20px;'><span class='epvc-label'> Bax\u0131\u015f say\u0131:<\/span> <span class=\"epvc-count\"> 22<\/span><\/div><p>At the awards ceremony of the <strong>Astana Eco Film Festival,<\/strong> held as part of the international exhibition <strong>RES 2026 EXPO (Regional Ecological Summit)<\/strong> in the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana, the animated film <em>\u201cEarth and Moon\u201d<\/em> was named the winner in the category <em>\u201cBest Eco Short Film\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The film was a winner of the <em>2025 Film Support Competition<\/em> for projects in post-production, organized by the Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ARKA), operating under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The project was produced by Uzbekistan\u2019s <em>DIP Animation<\/em> studio and Azerbaijan\u2019s <em>PER<\/em><em>I FILM<\/em> studio, with additional support from <em>ANIMAFILM Studio<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The film is directed by Pavel Kim, who also serves as the Uzbek producer, while the Azerbaijani producer is Rashid Aghamaliyev.<\/p>\n<p>This project is the first international animated co-production realized between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n<p>In the film\u2019s storyline, Earth and the Moon are portrayed as two friends playing an eternal game.
