We – work in the field of animation, create animated films for children and adults\u00a0in\u00a0state and private studios around the world and in\u00a0Azerbaijan. We write books and dissertations about animation, we make documentaries about it and organise\u00a0international animation festivals.<\/p>\n

We – children and adults watch and love animated films.<\/p>\n

Respectful\u00a0President\u00a0of Azerbaijan!<\/p>\n

Azerbaijani animation has a rich history dating back to the 1930s.\u00a0Azerbaijani animated films of the 70s, 80s and 90s are\u00a0still\u00a0very popular among the new generations. Azerbaijani animation participated at many international festivals around the world.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, today Azerbaijani animation is in very bad condition. There is no high education in the field of animation in Azerbaijan.\u00a0There are only 1 or 2 animated films being produced in Azerbaijan\u00a0every year and\u00a0very often these films don\u2019t even reach the general audience. For a long time Azerbaijan hasn\u2019t even had its own international animation festival.<\/p>\n

We – animation enthusiasts\u00a0want professional education in the field of animation in Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n

We – children want to\u00a0watch animated films in our native language and learn more about our country and the world.<\/p>\n

Respectful\u00a0President of Azerbaijan! We ask you to pay attention to the critical\u00a0condition of Azerbaijani animation. <\/b><\/p>\n

We ask you\u00a0to issue a\u00a0decree\u00a0about creating\u00a0animation departments and faculties in the universities of Azerbaijan.<\/b><\/p>\n

We ask you to\u00a0provide more finances for the production and popularization of animated films in Azerbaijan.<\/b><\/p>\n

We ask you to support ANIMAFILM Baku International Animation Festival, which has been organised for two years on the basis of civil initiative.<\/b><\/p>\n
