The festival is organized by the\u00a0<strong>Azerbaijan Animation Association<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The festival\u2019s selection committee has announced the films included in this year\u2019s competition program. We proudly introduce this year\u2019s selection committee members:\u00a0<strong>Demetrios Poursanidis<\/strong>\u00a0(Greece),\u00a0<strong>Hattie Greenwood<\/strong> (United Kingdom), <strong>Maria Afanasieva<\/strong> (Ukraine)<strong>,<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Elshan Jabrailzadeh<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Masud Alisoy<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Vafa Piriyeva<\/strong><strong>, Bahar Zeynalli<\/strong>\u00a0(Azerbaijan).<\/p>\n<p>The selected films will be evaluated by an international jury and the audience. The winners will be announced at the closing ceremony of the 8th ANIMAFILM Festival. The jury members will be revealed soon.<\/p>\n<p>This year,\u00a0<strong>the festival received <\/strong><strong>317<\/strong><strong> films from <\/strong><strong>62<\/strong><strong> countries<\/strong>. The selection committee evaluated all submissions and accepted\u00a0<strong>39<\/strong><strong> films from <\/strong><strong>20<\/strong><strong> countries<\/strong>\u00a0for the competition. Among these,\u00a0<strong>1<\/strong><strong>0<\/strong><strong> films are in the local category<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>29<\/strong><strong> in the international category<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The following awards will be presented to the winners:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The international competition\u2019s prize in the nomination \u201cBest Short
