The 2nd ANIMAFILM International Pitching Competition<\/strong> is now open for submissions and will take place as part of the 9th ANIMAFILM International Animation Festival<\/strong>, held in Baku from May 13\u201317, 2026.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The goal of the competition is to support local and international animation projects that are currently in the development, pre-production, or production stages.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\ud83d\udccb Conditions of Participation <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Projects are accepted from Azerbaijan and all countries worldwide.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The submission must be an animation project (meaning at least 50% of the project must consist of animation).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Accepted formats include short films, feature films, and series.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

There are no restrictions regarding animation techniques or themes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Application documents must be submitted in either Azerbaijani or English.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The winners will be carefully selected by the Pitching Jury and officially announced during the 9th ANIMAFILM International Animation Festival. The winners will receive the following awards:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dynamic Box Studio Award \u2013 500 AZN<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

K\u0130NOB\u0130Z Award \u2013 500 AZN<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

OB Film Studio Award \u2013 500 AZN <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
