We are deeply grateful and truly excited to introduce the experts who have shaped the competition program for this year\u2019s festival. The selection process has now successfully concluded, and our committee has done an incredible job reviewing nearly 450 animated films from over 60 countries around the world.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Please meet the selection committee for the\u00a09th ANIMAFILM International Animation Festival<\/strong>:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Asmar Abbaszada\u00a0\u2013 Film criticism graduate of Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts. Content Curator at KYNO and cinema podcast host.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/strong>Elshen Jabrayilzade<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 One of the core members of the \u201cKYNO\u201d team. He uses his experience in content creation and copywriting to promote a love of cinema in Azerbaijan.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/strong>Jeylan Amiraliyeva<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Content Editor at KYNO and screenwriter. Her passion for cinema has driven her to actively engage in film festivals, creative communities, and film criticism.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/strong>Leyla Novruzova<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Lead Animator on the \u201cIzzy and Piti\u201c series at AN\u0130MAF\u0130LM Studio, storyboarding artist, and film lover.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/strong>Mirbaghir Ismayilov<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Film director, screenwriter, storyteller, DOP, and film critic with a demonstrated history of working in filmmaking.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/strong>Naina Vilchinskaya<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Animator and rigger at AN\u0130MAF\u0130LM Studio. Having participated in various animation projects, she plans to explore the field of film criticism during the festival.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/strong>Nazrin Akhundova<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Art director of AN\u0130MAF\u0130LM Studio. Actively involved in animation and art communities, bringing expertise in visual storytelling, character design, and creative development.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/strong>Nuray Aliyeva\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Animation Designer at AN\u0130MAF\u0130LM Studio. Specializes in 2D animation with a focus on creating expressive, story-driven visuals and editing.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/strong>Vafa Piriyeva<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Content creator and media manager. Actively involved in various film communities with a strong interest in film criticism.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
