We are glad to announce that the CinéDOC-Tbilisi Film Mentoring Programme will again include a Film Support Programme designed especially for films with socially relevant topics. Documentary filmmakers from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan may apply.
The Film Mentoring Programme gives you the chance to work on your project with mentors from the European documentary film industry.
The Film Support Programme awards financial support for:
Up to 12 selected documentary film projects that cover socially relevant topics and inspire debates on different forms of civic engagement
– Awards of up to EUR 10 000 per project for a documentary film longer than 45 minutes
– Awards of up to EUR 5000 for a documentary shorter than 45 minutes
The program starts on the 31 of March (tbc) and lasts until the end of June 2023
Deadline of applications: 27 February 2023 – 21:00 o’clock / Tbilisi time
Members of newly established documentary film associations, such as DOCA · Documentary Association Georgia and «QazDoc» Documentary Creators Public Association (Kazakhstan) are encouraged to apply!
