Call for Projects: 2nd ANIMAFILM International Pitching Competition!
The 2nd ANIMAFILM International Pitching Competition is now open for submissions and will take place as part of the 9th ANIMAFILM International Animation Festival, held in Baku from May 13–17, 2026.
The goal of the competition is to support local and international animation projects that are currently in the development, pre-production, or production stages.
📋 Conditions of Participation
Projects are accepted from Azerbaijan and all countries worldwide.
The submission must be an animation project (meaning at least 50% of the project must consist of animation).
Accepted formats include short films, feature films, and series.
There are no restrictions regarding animation techniques or themes.
Application documents must be submitted in either Azerbaijani or English.
🏆 Prize Fund
The winners will be carefully selected by the Pitching Jury and officially announced during the 9th ANIMAFILM International Animation Festival. The winners will receive the following awards:
ANIMAFILM Studio Award – 500 AZN
Dynamic Box Studio Award – 500 AZN
OB Film Studio Award – 500 AZN
