The Emile Awards Announce Their Nominations
The European Animation Awards are pleased to announce the nominees for the ten categories of short and feature animated films.

The Emile Awards, the European Animation Awards, are pleased to announce the nominees for the ten categories of short and feature animated films.
Short film categories include:
- Best Backgrounds and Characters in Short Film
- Best Animation in Short Film
- Best Sound Design and Music in Short Film
- Best Innovative Short Film
- Best of the Best Short Film
The Feature Film categories include:
- Best Writing in a Feature
- Best Soundtrack in a Feature
- Best Backgrounds and Character Design in a Feature
- Best Animation in a Feature
- Best of the Best Feature
Founded in 2017, The Emiles honour the art of European animation and the talented people who create it, from independent animators to animation studios.
The Awards ceremony will take place on Monday 23 September 2024. It will be held at the historic Apollon Municipal Theatre in the city of Hermoupolis on the beautiful island of Syros Greece as the kick off event of the ANIMASYROS International Animation Festival which will take place from the 23rd of September until the 29th.
