Submit Your Project to the ANIMAFILM Pitching Competition!
The 1st ANIMAFILM Pitching Competition will take place as part of the 8th ANIMAFILM International Animation Festival, held from September 3 to 7, 2025, in Baku.
The competition is organized by the Azerbaijan Animation Association NGO, with support from CEE Animation, ANIMAFILM Studio, and Dynamic Box Studio.
The aim of the competition is to support local animation projects at the development, pre-production, or production stages.
Submission deadline: July 25, 2025
Eligibility criteria:
- The project must be Azerbaijani or a co-production with Azerbaijan.
- It must be an animation project (at least 50% of the content should be animated).
- Accepted formats: short films, feature-length films, and TV series.
- No restrictions on animation techniques or themes.
- All documents must be submitted in the Azerbaijani language.

The selected projects will be announced on August 15, 2025.
Winners will be chosen by the Pitching Jury and announced during the 8th ANIMAFILM International Animation Festival.
Prizes:
- ANIMAFILM Studio Award – 500 AZN
- Dynamic Box Studio Award – 500 AZN
All winning projects will be published on the CEE Animation platform and recommended to the Cinema Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ARKA) for production support.
